Dynamite Review 02/09/2022 - Limitless Breath
This is just how good the show is now, folks. The Sword & Shield are here to serve up a full review of one of the best episodes of AEW Dynamite to date. So much incredible stuff happens, wow, there's so much to get to so let's get right to it. The show opens with MJF celebrating his win over CM Punk in Chicago, furthering the ever so slow burn for Wardlow and setting up a tag team match with FTR against Punk and a partner of his choosing. While we speculate on who will join Punk, we get AEW debuts from Jay White, and Keith Lee, who looks like he could throw most of the roster into the sun with one hand. Punk chooses Big Mox to team up with, and the result is a barn-burner show-stealing tag classic in the middle of Dynamite. Jade Cargill fits in a quick defense, Serena Deeb completes the first 5 Minute Challenge, and then Hangman Page brings the show home with a main even deathmatch against Lance Archer that hits some bloody highs with plenty of chaos. Elsewhere, we get an Inner Circle team meeting with a murky conclusion, continued development of the distance between Adam Cole and the Bucks, and whispers of Pentagon Dark.
